The second largest city in Germany is Hamburg, where 80,000 refugees have come to begin new lives. It’s hard for them having completed long journeys just to get there. Then there is language to learn, immigration to complete, residency to gain, and employment to seek. And it’s lonely being far from your family and friends. And there are more refugees coming in every day.
The Good News of Jesus means that God will walk with them on this journey. He changes people. He answers prayer. He washes away sin and he brings hope. He turns difficulty into delight. This is the message we hope to see spread among the migrant communities of Hamburg.
