We are Brett and Debbie Mason from Iowa, originally from California.  As very proud parents of seven sons, we enjoy time with our family and being together with our grandchildren too.

Brett likes making friends, seeing new places and thinking of ways to solve problems.  Interests include music, cooking, games, visiting new places and trying new things.

Debbie likes learning, reading, being with friends, organizing and planning. She adores children, likes outings with friends and family, and loves to teach too.

We are also followers of Jesus.  He changes everything.

In the late 1980’s we served in the Philippines, learning Tagalog, making friends, and sharing the love of Jesus.  Life-long friends are the best treasure we have! We have served short term in Mexico, Honduras, and Japan.  With our family, we have touched five continents.  Our language learning has included English, Spanish, Tagalog, and also dabbling in Malay, Cebuano, German, and Italian.

We have coached baseball, taught sailing, and been leaders in Scouting, including raising seven Eagle Scout sons.  We have taught Bible studies and small groups, held babies in the nursery, served in jail ministry, and helped mentor and coach couples seeking to improve their marriage.

For us, people are the key.  We like making friends, listening, coming along side, helping, and at times coaching and mentoring some who want to see change in their lives.  Jesus told us to love one another, and that’s something we try to do.
